Welcome to the FSAA–Performance Task Portal

All Florida students participate in the state’s assessment and accountability system. The Florida Standards Alternate Assessment (FSAA) is designed for students whose participation in the general statewide assessment is not appropriate, even with accommodations, and it implements the requirements of Section 1008.22, Florida Statutes, requiring assessments that accurately measure the core curricular content for students with significant cognitive disabilities.

The FSAA is based on the Florida Standards Access Points (FS-AP) for English Language Arts and Mathematics and Next Generation Sunshine State Standards Access Points in Science. Access Points are academic expectations written specifically for students with significant cognitive disabilities.

As of May 2016, this portal is designed to provide Florida educators with access to FSAA—Performance Task training resources. Separate portal pages for teachers and Alternate Assessment Coordinators/District Trainers are available using the links above.

Starting in August 2016, the FSAA Portal will undergo a series of changes as Measured Progress updates the existing FSAA—Performance Task resources, integrates FSAA—Datafolio program components, and completes functionality upgrades to help Florida educators plan for 2016-2017. We encourage to you check back often and contact the FSAA Service Center with any questions.
